Today’s snapshot comes to us from MapleStoryM, the mobile spinoff of everyone’s favorite game to say “I remember that game.”
The folks at Nexon are hosting an event (go figure) for My Pink Bean. The gist of the event is that you get food to feed your bean, with the ultimate goal of leveling it up and getting rewards such as the pink bean chair and the pink bean mount. It’s all just so gosh darn adorable.
Iconic MMORPG MapleStory will hold a co-promotional event introducing characters from the Line Friends title to Maple World in an upcoming event. The Line Friends X MapleStory event starts on April 24 and runs through May 21, 2019, and is available for all players with characters at level 61 and higher. The event will feature characters including Brown, Cony, and Leonard, and players who take part in the event can obtain Line Friends coins which can be redeemed for items and consumables.
Upcoming events include:
A Surplus of Snapshots Event – Complete special photography quests to obtain LINEFRIENDS Stickers and other items including LINE FRIENDS Coins, gift boxes, and medals.
Souvenir Collection Event – Gather Maple World souvenirs over 14 days to obtain a LINE FRIENDS Gift Box or collect Maple World Leaves in exchange for souvenirs.
Proactive Peacekeeping Event – Help the LINE FRIENDS characters tour Maple World safely by hunting monsters to receive a LINE FRIENDS Gift Box.
Additional Line Friends items will be available for purchase through the cash shop during the same period.
Acclaimed illustrator Jeong Juno, best known for his work on Lineage 2, has teamed up with Nexon for LYN: The Lightbringer, a new story-driven RPG. LYN boasts a beautiful cast of 3D-rendered models converted from two-dimensional characters, all designed by Jeong himself.
“Many centuries ago in the realm of the godlike Daeva, Light and Darkness erupted into war. After 200 years of peace, a pillar of light burst forth and the Girl of Light arrived, compelling the world to move once more. In this stunning RPG, players join the mysterious hero Jean to explore an enchanting but treacherous landscape, ripe with countless collectable characters.”

Nexon’s MapleStory has launched its latest event: Arcade Adventures.
The Retro World Event runs until April 9 and can be enjoyed by players with characters of level 61 and above that will take them to 8-bit pixelated worlds where they can hunt monsters, collect coins, practice their dodging and jumping, avoid traps, and more.
Promote the Game!: Players will be able to hunt monsters near their level to retrieve Retro World Promo Coupons and receive coins for a special reward.
Eliminate Bug Monsters!: Retro World monsters will begin to appear in Maple World. Players who eliminate the monsters can acquire EXP, mesos and coins.
Call of the Goddess: Maplers can learn a special event skill from the ancient Retro World Goddess. As they use this skill, players will be able to earn additional coins after eliminating monsters.
In addition, Retro World brings forth the Demon King’s Tower dungeon, and Detective Rave’s Case Notes theme dungeon.
Maplestory 2 is saying farewell to fairfight, removing the controversial system in an update coming this week.
After announcing Project New Leaf, Nexon’s initiative to address Maplestory 2 feedback, the publisher will be releasing the first update in the initiative on Thursday February 28. Maplestory 2’s next update removes Fairfight, a balancing system that normalizes high level and low level players. This creates a wider range of content that high level players can explore without the restrictions of playing with low level friends. Additionally, Trader’s Ribbons are set to receive updates that will make them applicable to legendary gear.
Nexon also took this time to warn players about illegal Meso purchases (IE: All of them), that players who purchase Mesos illegally will receive permanent bans.
Nexon this week dropped the latest update for Master of Eternity (MOE) introducing a new boss raid, new suit, and temple guardian. Fans of grid-based and combat and pixie commanders can take part in a host of new events, including:
Unique New Chapter & Temple – The highly-anticipated Chapter 13 Part Two delivers an all-new story for players to face, packed with a never-before-seen Temple Guardian;
New Boss Raid and Mobility Production Center – Players can now participate in Boss Raids and earn rewards to build exclusive Mecha suits;
Powerful Rare Suits – Enlist in galactic battle with 17 new Mecha suits for the Assault, Support, Bombardier and Sniper classes, including the coveted Kali’s Child Suit;
Special In-game Events – Veteran and new players can participate in several events until Wednesday, Feb. 6 to earn rewards, including:

Master of Eternity (M.O.E, get it?), the turn-based mobile strategy game, this week launched its new year’s update delivering an overhaul of fresh content, including exclusive costumes and events. The Cheerleader Costume Event is now live for a limited time and the game is available for free on Android and iOS devices.
In Master of Eternity, players command PIxies armed with formidable mech suits. The Cheerleader Costume Event boasts several new features, including:

Maplestory 2 has launched the second phase of the Skybound Expansion today. The update introduces the Fortress Rumble Dungeon, and players who reach “trusted” reputation can enter five types of single player dungeons offering rewards including legendary weapons and armor. The update also introduces the Wrath of Infernog Chaos Raid, available to players at level 50 with a minimum of 9,000 gear score. Rewards for the dungeon include Pluto’s accessory set, the first legendary tier accessories available in game.
And finally, players can participate in the following events until January 31.
Infernog Expedition Support – Players level 10 and above can obtain Expedition Commemorative Coins based on cumulative login time
2019 Lucky Pouch – Players level 10 and above can complete various quests to obtain a Lucky Pouch, and additionally can earn rewards by opening specific numbers of Lucky Pouches.
Hide-and-Seek Hijinks – Players level 10 and above must complete 16 various quests based on the corresponding NPCs. Players who complete quests will obtain rewards. Players who became “Friend of the Day” and contributed to the quest condition check will get a buff.

Maplestory M today has launched its latest update, introducing the new Dragon Master class Evan as well as minigames and seasonal events. In addition to the new quest, Maplestory M is also introducing the minigame station along with four new minigames. Players will be able to gain coins through the minigame station and use those coins for rewards from the in-game shop.
Events following today’s update are as follows:
Evan Burning Event– Through January 17, Evan characters between levels 3 – 75 will be given 2 bonus levels each time they level up 1 level
Evan update celebration– Through January 2, all players will receive special rewards including Buff Pets to help playing the game
Evan Growth Support Event– Through January 24, Special Growth Support Boxes, which include 3 stages of “Dragon Mount,” Evan exclusive chair and medal are given as players level up the new Evan class
Christmas Tree Decoration Event– Between December 24 to January 5, players can decorate Christmas trees with ornaments to earn Tree EXP for rewards
New Year’s Attendance Event– Between January 1 to January 24, players who log-in for 14 days anytime during the event period will receive Unique Accessory Draw Ticket, Equipment Support Box, pets and various rewards
Golden Pig Dice Event– Between January 10 to January 24, players can celebrate Golden Pig Year by obtaining special rewards from the board by rolling dice

Maplestory has launched the final chapter of the war with the game’s current big baddy, the Black Mage. Players level 200 or higher who have completed the 5th job advancement can access the Labyrinth of Suffering, Tenebris’ second area. At the end of the quest, players will find Verus Hilla, one of the Black Mage’s leading Commanders, ready to fight. Limina, Tenebris’ final area, is also available as players must help the Tenebris expedition escape dangerous situations inside to complete the Journey of Destiny.
In addition, every class will receive a new 5th job skill to fight the Black Mage and once the Maple Alliance gathers enough Determination to power up the Spark of Determination, all out war breaks loose as the highly anticipated Black Mage Boss Battle will become available. With the Black Mage’s HP being shared across all worlds, MapleStory players across the world must work together in this epic battle to finally defeat the Black Mage.
