[NM] PSA: Minion Masters Voidborne Onslaught DLC Free


Minion Masters is a game you may not have heard of; it bills itself as a 1v1 or 2v2 hybrid of a deckbuilder, MOBA, and tower defense. It currently stands with a 95% “Overwhelmingly Positive” review score on Steam, and you can play it for free.

And if you are planning on playing Minion Masters in the future, I recommend checking out and activating the Voidborne Onslaught DLC which is currently free. The DLC normally runs $14.99, but if you activate it prior to March 15, you’ll get it for the low, low price of zero [insert your currency].

[Blizzcon 2018] Destiny 2 Free On PC Until November 18


Destiny 2 launched on October 24, 2017, and Activision is celebrating its one year anniversary by making the game free. Log in to Battle.net and grab yourself a free copy of the game before November 18 and the game is yours to keep forever*.

The copy includes the base game and nothing else, you’ll still need to drop some simoleons in order to pick up the expansions and DLC. On the plus side, the Forsaken expansion now includes the two expansions that came before it, so for $40 USD you can grab Forsaken, Curse of Osiris, and Warmind. Forsaken also includes a character boost to get you into the new content right away.

PSA: Shadow Warrior 2 Free On Good Old Games


First person shooter Shadow Warrior 2 is free on Good Old Games for a limited time, and if you don’t own the title (or own it on Good Old Games), it’s in your best interest to pick it up now. Developed by Flying Wild Hog and released in 2016, Shadow Warrior 2 still sells for $39.99, making this a hell of a deal.

As part of GOG’s tenth anniversary promotion, members of the community were asked to pick a game that would be offered for free and Shadow Warrior ultimately won out over Firewatch and Superhot. It holds a 4.4/5 star rating on Good Old Games.

The deal only lasts until roughly 10:15am EST on Saturday, October 6.

Lawbreakers Will Shut Down In September, Now Free To Play


When Boss Key Productions announced its closure back in May, the question of its two titles sunsetting became a matter of when, not if. As of today, competitive shooter Lawbreakers has been made officially free to play in preparation for the servers to sunset in September. No information has been posted to Radical Heights, which is already free to play, on when that game will follow suit.

In light of the unfortunate news regarding Boss Key Productions shutting down, we regret to announce that we will be sunsetting our support of LawBreakers on September 14, 2018 as we are not able to operate the game.

Our servers will remain open until then and the game will be made free-to-play on Steam for all players effective immediately. Please note that any and all new in-game purchases will also be disabled and we will not be able to accept any refund requests.

PSA: How To Actually Unlock The Raiders DLC On Steam


Raiders of the Broken Planet is giving its DLC away for free, but only until Friday. The method to unlock said DLC is rather, shall we say, convoluted and probably somewhat confusing for some of you. So MMO Fallout has put together a comprehensive guide on how to unlock Raiders free campaigns while the promotion is still going.

Step 1: Don’t Click On “Add To Cart”

Clicking on Add to Cart is probably why you are Googling this in the first place. Clicking Add To Cart will add the item to your cart and provide you with a cost to purchase. You’re not here to buy the DLC for $10, you’re here to buy it for $0.

Step 2: Go To The DLC’s Page

Click on the DLC to view its store page. Here you will see the DLC listed with the option to just “Download” it, as shown above.

Step 3: Click Download

Click download. This will activate the DLC to your account. You’re done, that’s all there is to it.

PSA: Crusader Kings II Free On Steam


Crusader Kings II is free on Steam, and if you pick it up right now you’ll be able to keep it forever. Just head over to the Steam store page and activate the game to your account. You don’t need to download it right away to keep it. Crusader Kings II was released in 2012 by Paradox Interactive and currently holds a 77% “Mostly Positive” rating on Steam. As of this posting, there are nearly 30,00 people playing concurrently.

Granted, you’ll still need to throw down a pretty penny to get every one of the game’s DLC packs, which are currently on sale at 50% off.

PSA: Get Two Free Ubisoft Games In December


In case you just weren’t getting enough free games on PC, Ubisoft has come out with two titles to pad your playlist. From now through December 18, you’ll be able to pick up two Ubisoft titles if you happen to be in the right place at the right time, and if the price is right.

From now through December 11 you’ll be able to pick up World in Conflict, an innovative RTS in a cold war environment. From December 11 through the 18, you can grab a copy of Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. Check it out over at Ubisoft’s website.

PSA: Get The Bureau: XCOM Declassified Free On Humble Bundle


When it comes to video games, The Bureau: XCOM Declassified is certainly something that was released for money. Currently for sale at $20 on Steam, for a limited time only you can pick up a copy of the 2013 XCOM third person shooter from Humble Bundle at the link below and redeem it on Steam. While the game may be considered a disappointment by hardcore fans of the turn-based strategy series, The Bureau currently holds a 66% overall positive rating on Steam with a more generous 82% recent positive rating, albeit many of those reviews noting its free availability.

PSA: Watch Dogs is Free Until November 13 (Uplay)


If for some reason you still haven’t picked up Watch Dogs during its multiple instances of free availability on various platforms, well you have the chance yet again. From now until November 13, you can get Watch Dogs on Uplay and keep it. Watch Dogs was previously part of Xbox Games with Gold back in May and has been pretty cheap on sale elsewhere on and off.
