Nexon today announced that the 32 bit client for MapleStory 2 is going away, as in going away on February 12.
“Starting on February 12th, 2020, the 32-bit client for MapleStory 2 will be discontinued. Players will be defaulted to the 64-bit version of the game client. Moreover, the recommended specs of MapleStory 2 will be adjusted on all of our platforms. Due to Microsoft’s discontinuation of Windows 7 support, we recommend that players use Windows 10 when playing the game.”

If you could name one improvement for MapleStory 2, what would it be? That’s right, a dungeon helper system.
Starting with the latest update, players level 50 and above will be considered a dungeon helper when queuing for dungeons below level 50. By completing lower level dungeons and thus helping out the newer players, it is possible to receive up to 10 dungeon coins per day (1 per dungeon). Coins can be used in the shop to buy furnishings, outfits, mounts, and more.
In order to better ease new players into higher level dungeons, Nexon has also instituted an across the map nerf of dungeon enemies. Finally, the benefits of house assistants are no longer locked behind merets and can now be bought with mesos.

Maplestory 2 Removing Fairfight Balancing System
Maplestory 2 is saying farewell to fairfight, removing the controversial system in an update coming this week.
After announcing Project New Leaf, Nexon’s initiative to address Maplestory 2 feedback, the publisher will be releasing the first update in the initiative on Thursday February 28.
