The H1Z1 open beta has arrived on Playstation 4 today, and many of you trying to log in may be unlucky enough to find yourself getting stopped at the door. Daybreak Game Company has announced via Twitter that 200,000+ concurrent users are trying to get online and the servers are having some trouble keeping up. As a result, more hardware is being spun up to accommodate the extra server load.
Daybreak has asked that players hold on tight while the servers stabilize.

TERA is live on Xbox and Playstation (provided you purchase a founder pack) an En Masse Entertainment has partnered with Twitch to offer a pack for Prime members. Log in to Twitch between March 27 and April 9 and pick up a code for a TERA pack usable on either console.

En Masse Entertainment announced today the official launch date for TERA on Playstation and Xbox: April 3. If you’re not willing to wait until April to get into the servers, you can pick up a founder’s pack and start as early as Tuesday, March 27. Founder’s packs include EMP, mounts, pets, titles, and elite status, depending on which package you buy. The founder’s packs won’t be available until March 27.
“There is a lot of excitement in gaming to finally see the action combat TERA is so famous for realized on console,” states Matt Denomme, Sr. Product Manager at En Masse Entertainment. “We had an amazing reception to our Open Beta test from TERA veterans and newcomers. We are pumped to finally bring the deep, challenging, definitive MMO experience gamers have been waiting for to Xbox One and PlayStation 4.”

MMO Fallout can confirm via Sony that purchases from Marvel Heroes Omega will be automatically refunded going back to August 17. Users affected by this should be receiving an automatic message similar to the one above soon if they haven’t already, confirming that their accounts will be credited. As stated in the above message, purchases between August and October 17 will be refunded to the wallet while purchases after October 17 will be refunded to the original payment source, except in cases where said source is unavailable.
Marvel Heroes Omega launched earlier this year on Playstation and Xbox, barely lasting six months into its life before the sudden announcement that Gazillion would be closing up shop and shutting down the servers. While Microsoft was quick to hand out refunds, Sony has up until now been reluctant to offer players compensation for their purchases.
Gazillion Entertainment today announced that the Mighty Women loot box will be leaving Marvel Heroes Omega on consoles as of August 24th. In opposite of its PC counterpart, the console version of Marvel Heroes does not sell costumes directly. Instead, the only method to obtain them is to buy into loot boxes which rotate on a periodic basis what is available.
The costumes will presumably be available again at an unknown point in the future.

Have you been waiting for an opportunity to try out Ghost Recon: Wildlands and also happen to game on Playstation 4 or Xbox One? Well you are in luck. Ubisoft today launched a free trial for both consoles (nothing for PC, sadly), giving an opportunity to give the game a go before throwing down sixty bucks. Black Cat has joined the roster on Marvel Heroes for PS4/Xbox. You’ll be able to pick up the Black Cat pack starting today as a timed exclusive purchase on both console stores, a $20 pack that instantly unlocks 1 bonus costume, 2 marvelous loot boxes, and 2 bonus experience boosts. Players in Europe will be able to purchase Black Cat later this week.
Idolizing her father, himself a famous burglar, Felicia Hardy taught herself safe cracking, lock picking, and other thievery techniques. After failing to break out her father, she took up the persona of Black Cat full-time, seeking to continue her father’s legacy. Following its June launch, Gazillion Entertainment has released the first in-game event for Marvel Heroes Omega. Themed after the new Spiderman Homecoming film, the event takes players to the Daily Bugle building where they will square off against the Vulture and the Sinister Six.
In addition to the event, Gazillion also announced that Black Cat will be joining the ranks on PlayStation and Xbox soon. Carnage became playable on PC earlier this week.
Marvel Heroes is available on PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.

Marvel Heroes launches into head start on Friday March 20 on Playstation 4, with Gazillion aiming for an 8am Pacific launch time. The launch time estimate was confirmed on the forums today by Gazillion staff and comes alongside the announcement that Marvel Heroes will be launching on Xbox One this June. The full open beta will be available to the public on May 23, but if you want to get in early you’ll need a founder’s pack.
