[Not Massive] Xbox Game Pass Gets Bigger This Month

This month sees a marked increase in titles available on Xbox Game Pass, the $10 monthly subscription service that gives access to over a hundred games on Xbox One. New titles have been released as of July 1, including racing title Dirt 4, sniper game Zombie Army Trilogy, Shadow Complex Remastered, The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion, Fallout 3, and Human Fall Flat.

Important to note is that these games are the base versions and do not come with any downloadable content and that neither Fallout 3 nor Oblivion are the Game of the Year editions.

Later this month sees the simultaneous release of a few brand new titles. Vermintide 2 hits Xbox, Playstation, and PC on July 11 but Game Pass subscribers can get access to the full game on day one without needing to purchase it. One day earlier on June 10 you’ll be able to get your hands on Bomber Crew, a simulation strategy title set in a World War 2 bomber plane.

The Division, Elder Scrolls Online Hit Xbox Game Pass

Xbox Game Pass is a $10/month service that allows you to play an impressive library of games on your Xbox One, and with E3 kicking off the service just got more valuable. As announced over the weekend, Microsoft has added several games including The Division, Elder Scrolls Online, and Fallout 4, with more titles on the way.

As is standard the with service, the Game Pass won’t get you any DLC for any of the titles listed and there is the likeliness that some of the games may be removed from the service at some unspecified point in the far future. Any game on the service can be purchased at a discount, including relevant DLC. If you haven’t already invested into the game on other platforms, now might be a good time to start playing.

[Not Massive] Gamestop Hyperkin Controllers Get Stuck In Customs

Hyperkin’s Duke Xbox controller is fat and sassy. How fat is it, you ask? It’s so fat that it tried to slide through customs and got stuck. Tip your waiter, I’ll be here all week.

This week was supposed to mark the launch of the Hyperkin Duke Xbox Controller, a recreation of the original Xbox controller for people with Shaq-sized hands. If you pre-ordered your controller through Microsoft, you’re doing fine. If you got your order through Gamestop, however, you might have been surprised to show up on Monday only for the store to tell you that not only was the controller not in yet, it wasn’t even in transit to the store.

Well it turns out that Gamestop’s shipment got held up by Customs. Hyperkin’s Twitter account set a new date of May 15 for delivery.

Yanked PUBG Ad Is Basically Plagiarized From Community Artwork

The above photo is an Xbox One ad concept created by Reddit user Macsterr and posted on PUBG’s subreddit about a month ago. This image may look familiar if you follow Xbox on Twitter because someone from the company saw the concept and apparently loved it enough to create official advertising that you might refer to as an…aggressive homage. The following appeared on the Xbox Twitter account yesterday, December 26.

The original tweet has been deleted, but the internet doesn’t forget things so easily and the archived version can be found here. The tweet on the Xbox account as deleted with no additional statement by Microsoft.

Gazillion Entertainment today announced that the Mighty Women loot box will be leaving Marvel Heroes Omega on consoles as of August 24th. In opposite of its PC counterpart, the console version of Marvel Heroes does not sell costumes directly.
