Mobility: Maplestory M Drops New Class Luminous


Maplestory M is once again back with a new class. The Luminous is the latest class to drop on the hit mobile title, a mage class that utilizes a shining rod and orb to battle the forces of evil. Naturally this would not be a new class release without Nexon also running a burning event. Start up your new Luminous character and you’ll receive an additional two levels for every level up until January 13. In addition to the fast level track, you’ll also be able to obtain special rewards for leveling up the Luminous class character.

“An expert Magician, Luminous defeated the Black Mage using a shining rod as his primary weapon and an orb as his secondary weapon. In addition to these tools, the new hero also has a powerful Flash Shower skill, which shoots a concentrated burst of light that can penetrate multiple enemies. However, Luminous’s dark side also emerged as a result of his brush with the Black Mage. Becoming tainted with the antagonists dark power, Luminous now struggles to keep a hold of his light and dark side.”

Not to just cut and run, Maplestory M players can take part in the Happy Holiday event. Earn rewards, obtain winter treasure box keys from enemies, obtain log-in rewards, and more.

Black Desert Officially Launches On Mobile


Black Desert Mobile is officially here, as the game goes live globally. Black Desert Mobile generated successful response with 4.5 million pre-registrations and has enjoyed a successful launch in multiple countries including Korea, Japan, and Taiwan.

To celebrate the successful launch, Pearl Abyss is rewarding mobile gamers with a series of in-game items and gifts from the Bunny Bunny Ornament, a Tier 1 Horse Emblem, a Verdon Outfit Chest, and Krenvatz Barding. Additionally, those with Amazon Prime will be able to redeem monthly goodies starting immediately. Black Desert Mobile is available in English, German, Spanish, French, Russian, Thai, and Indonesian, with Portuguese to be added in 2020.

Mobility: Alliance x Empire Update Adds New PvP Mode


Mobile MMO Alliance x Empire has added in a new PvP mode in the latest update. The update also introduces adorable new companions, new costumes, new special events, and the wheel of fortune rewarding players for every event mission completed.

Entropia Universe Brings In Summer With New Event


Summer is the warmest season of the year, and why not spend the warmest season beating monsters to death?

Starting now and running until July 1, Summer Mayhem 2019 tasks players with stopping the evil Mulmun ritual, gaining points, and scoring some sweet loot. Knights Chronicle Celebrates Anniversary With Events


After a year of what has been described as enthusiastic fan support, mobile RPG Knights Chronicle is celebrating its 1-year anniversary with a slew of content. Starting today, players can enjoy new labyrinth dungeons. Choose your heroes carefully though, as you won’t be able to re-join in on other labyrinths until they are refreshed.

Events surrounding the update include:

  • New Awakenings for Electra and Edwin – Both Electra and Edwin can now be awoken by using growth materials and a six? version of either hero to achieve increased statistics, a new Awakened Passive skill upon reaching max Awakening level, and a new in-game appearance.
  • First-Year Anniversary Event – By playing the newly added ‘Blizzaria’ Advent Dungeon, players can acquire ‘1 Year Anniversary Summon Tickets’, which can be used to summon individual Heroes.

Knights Chronicle features classic turn-based role-playing gameplay, a beautiful Japanese animation-inspired art style and a compelling story showing the same standard of quality as console and PC RPGs. The game also sports standout features, including real-time party play where fans can form parties of up to five members to challenge multiplayer dungeons, explosive 3D-animated skills that demonstrate the game’s flashy and gorgeously detailed visuals, and over 100 heroes for players to choose from.

MapleStory 14th Anniversary Event Goes Live: Play As The Pink Bean


As we noted previously, MapleStory’s 14 Anniversary event has gone live, and will run from April 24 through June 12. Events named after past seasonal updates will be available under the 14th Street event. Players will receive the 14th Street Fairgoer title at the start of the event and increase their reputation and stats as they complete missions to receive the 14th Street Celeb medal.

You’ll also be able to create a Pink Bean character through June 12 by talking to Pink Bean outside the Chaos Pink Bean Theatre. The character is temporary, so get as much use out of it as you can. For more on MapleStory, check out the official website.

MapleStory Retro-Theme Arcade Adventures Live


Nexon’s MapleStory has launched its latest event: Arcade Adventures.

The Retro World Event runs until April 9 and can be enjoyed by players with characters of level 61 and above that will take them to 8-bit pixelated worlds where they can hunt monsters, collect coins, practice their dodging and jumping, avoid traps, and more.

  • Promote the Game!: Players will be able to hunt monsters near their level to retrieve Retro World Promo Coupons and receive coins for a special reward.

  • Eliminate Bug Monsters!: Retro World monsters will begin to appear in Maple World. Players who eliminate the monsters can acquire EXP, mesos and coins.

  • Call of the Goddess: Maplers can learn a special event skill from the ancient Retro World Goddess. As they use this skill, players will be able to earn additional coins after eliminating monsters.

In addition, Retro World brings forth the Demon King’s Tower dungeon, and Detective Rave’s Case Notes theme dungeon.

Maplestory Starts Gathering of Heroes Event


Nexon today released the latest event for Maplestory. Dubbed Gathering of Heroes, the event adds the Maple Alliance outpost where players can get set up and prepare for the battle against the Black Mage. The goal of the Alliance is to gather “Determination” and power up the holy light in the outpost to be able to fight the Black Mage.

The event runs from November 14 to the 28, and rewards for the event include exclusive pets, items, beauty and money boxes. Also starting today, players can reach level 200 by participating in the Tera Burning Project event. For the duration of the event, you’ll be able to create and assign new characters as your Tera Burning Character and receive a Snail pet and gain two extra levels each time they level up until reaching 200. Characters level 61 and up can accept the Destiny Awaits quest to unlock new areas and new enemies.

Players level 200 and up will have access to Moonbridge and all of the hordes of monsters that come with it.

Jagex Wants To Publish Your Indie Games


Gamesindustry.biz is holding its Investment Summit in September, and RuneScape developer Jagex will be there to seek out new publishing opportunities. After announcing last year that the company is seeking to publish more independent titles, Jagex will join a list of publishers and investors including Nintendo, Sega, Fig, Humble Bundle, and others to give speeches, have lunch, and hopefully close some deals between big name publishers and indie developers.
