Snapshots: The Black Death Shots/Trailer

The Black Death is a 14th century survival game set in western Europe ravaged by plague and sickness. Currently in early access, The Black Death promises realistic professions, a huge open world with hundreds of NPCs, hundreds of items, and a large scale multiplayer.
Below, check out the latest trailer showing off the beggar class and other recent additions to the game. For more information, visit The Black Death on Steam.
Video: 15 Minutes of Escape From Tarkov
The latest video from the hardcore MMOFPS Escape from Tarkov shows 15 unedited minutes of a soldier attempting to escape a guarded chemical factory. You can cut the tension with a knife in many moments, and the video places a heavy emphasis on scavenging.
Pay no mind to the overlapping watermarks.

Path of Exile's First Expansion Coming
Path of Exile is getting ready to launch its first mini-expansion Sacrifice of Vaal next week. The mini-expansion will include a bevy of content, including a high level encounter with Atziri, Queen of the Vaal. Much of the content is layered across the game world rather than focused on the end-game with new secret areas dotting the map, each containing their own special bosses guarding Vaal gems and fragments. New Vaal gemstones gain energy while equipped and can be unleashed for massive attacks, while exiles may corrupt their equipment for a number of benefits at the cost of being unable to mod the item any further.
Two new leagues also find their way in with this update. Ambush leagues feature strongboxes guarded by ambushes, while the hardcore Invasion league dramatically increases the variety of monsters one can encounter, including those from later levels rather early on. Check out the link below for more information on what is coming, and check out the trailer below that to hear a voiceover about sacrifice.

Elder Scrolls Online Pre-Order Bonuses
Yesterday the details for the Elder Scrolls Online collector’s edition leaked on the Amazon page for Dishonored, and today the details have been confirmed with Zenimax opening the game up for preorder. There are two bundles to choose from, standard and collector’s edition, and both have already sparked some controversy among fans. Preordering either edition automatically grants players the Explorer’s Pack, which includes the obligatory 5-day early access, vanity pet, and bonus treasure maps. The Explorer’s Pack allows players to roll on any faction, regardless of their race. Currently this is only listed as a preorder exclusive.
The Imperial Edition includes a metric ton of loot, including a 224 page illustrated book, a 12 inch Molag Bal statue, and a map of Tamriel. In-game, players receive a white horse mount, mudcrab pet, tradeable rings that grant bonus experience when grouped, and the ability to play as the Imperial race. To play devil’s advocate for a moment, anyone who purchases the standard edition has the option to later upgrade to the digital collector’s. The art of selling exclusive races seems to be getting more common, with last year’s Neverwinter offering an exclusive Drow race only with the purchase of a $200 package.
For now, check out the Arrival trailer.
Lineage II's New Race Coming In 2014
The fact that Lineage II launched ten years ago is hardly a deterrent for NCSoft, who continue adding in new content of rather substantial value on a decent basis, and it isn’t all just new areas and bigger toys to thwack creatures over the heads with. Last year, Lineage II players had the pleasure of witnessing a true rarity from the massive publisher: Rather than shut the game down and execute the studio, NCSoft admitted that a few years of poor decisions had left the game in a bit of a messed up state, and then did what few other MMO developers would do, they asked for feedback on how to go about fixing those problems.
The Ertheia is the newest race to come to Lineage II and is preparing to hit North American servers sometime next year to coincide with Lineage II’s ten year anniversary events. Check out the teaser trailer at the link below.

Video of the _____: Elder Scrolls Online Character Creator
I am not an adventurer, but I do play one in video games, and I’ve spent enough time in Cyrodil and Morrowind to know that not every hero is a buff, handsome man or Vogue model with large boobs. In fact, many of them have faces only a mother could love, and that’s pushing it. Luckily, as the character creator trailer for Elder Scrolls Online shows, I can once again reign terror on evil as my pot-bellied archer.
