[Video] Gamigo Announces ArcheAge Unchained

What happens when you have a game like ArcheAge? Start anew, at least that’s the plan that Gamigo seems to be taking with today’s announcement of ArcheAge: Unchained.

Your feedback over the years encouraged us to provide a different game experience for you, our community. ArcheAge: Unchained is a new way to play the game with a different business model. We’ve changed entirely its monetization which was simply not possible to this great extent with the already existing ArcheAge F2P version.
In ArcheAge: Unchained there is no longer a subscription model. With a onetime purchase, you can enjoy the content as often as you want. You will be able to purchase vanity items via Credits and we will implement seasonal ArchePasses. We are focusing on fairer gameplay which is why we decided to change a few monetization features for ArcheAge: Unchained. There’ll be more information in the next couple of weeks so stay tuned!

[Video] Destiny 2: There Will Be A Ton of Loot

Bungie has released the worldwide reveal trailer for Destiny 2, laying down the plot and setting the stage for the sequel to one of the most played games on consoles. Set to launch on consoles and PC this September 8, players will get a glimpse of gameplay at that world premiere on May 18. For plot synopsis, check out the paragraph below.

“In Destiny 2, the last safe city on Earth has fallen and lay in ruins, occupied by a powerful new enemy and his elite army, the Red Legion. Every player creates their own character called a Guardian, humanity’s chosen protectors. As a Guardian in Destiny 2, players must master new abilities and weapons to reunite the city’s forces, stand together and fight back to reclaim their home. The official Destiny 2 reveal trailer, Rally the Troops, shows two of the Vanguard, leaders of the Guardians, inspiring the people of the last city in an impassioned (and occasionally sarcastic) call to arms. In Destiny 2, players will answer this call, embarking on a fresh story filled with new destinations around our solar system to explore, and an expansive amount of activities to discover. There is something for almost every type of gamer in Destiny 2, including gameplay for solo, cooperative and competitive players set within a vast, evolving and exciting universe.”

[Not Massive] Titanfall 2 Trial Coming Soon

titanfall_2_tech_test_screen_1

Titanfall 2 is a fantastic shooter whose success has been hampered thanks to the poorly timed launch between Battlefield 1 and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. To bring more eyes to the game, Electronic Arts will be releasing a trial for PC and Xbox EA Origin/Access players on November 30th with the trial rolled out to non-subscribers on PC, Xbox, and Playstation on December 2nd.

Following the release of Titanfall 2, all post-launch maps, modes, and weapons will be absolutely free to all players, and that all starts on November 30th with the release of Angel City’s Most Wanted. Featuring the fully remastered fan favorite Angel City map from the original Titanfall, Angel City’s Most Wanted introduces additional free content including the Wingman Elite Pistol, six new Titan kits, and a brand new Pilot execution.

If you have some free time, check out Titanfall 2 on your platform of choice, providing you choose a platform that the game is available on.

NCSoft’s next quarterly report comes out this month, and will no doubt offer some level of insight into Lineage Eternal’s upcoming launch in Korea and internationally.
