Video: The RuneScape Tactical Nuke

Today’s video was created by Youtuber Gudi and provides quite the interesting experiment in Old School RuneScape. Gudi stacks low level accounts to create what he refers to as the tactical nuke capable of doing a lot of damage in an instant. The set up involves quite a lot of legwork and the use of multiple accounts, but the payoff is very entertaining to watch.

Gudi is an ex Jagex employee.

Mobility: MapleStory M Releases New PvP Dungeon

MapleStory M has released its latest content update and introduced a new PvP dungeon.

The PvP dungeon includes two modes: Ranked and free. Ranked mode has players going head to head in 3v3 matches with tiers decided by seasonal ranking and rewards being distributed as ranked. Free mode will give you more leeway to create as unbalanced of a match as you would like.

The following events are also included:

  • Kemdi’s Dice Game – From April 24 to May 9, a one-of-a-kind board game experience will be available where players can earn dice through hunting. Players can then roll the special dice to advance their pieces on the board and earn rewards. Those who complete the quest will then unlock the mysterious Kemdi’s Gift Box.

  • Spring Wonder Wheel Event – Starting May 9, the Spring Wonder Wheel Event allows players the chance to win Emblem Potential Scrolls, Lucky Day Scroll, Unique Rank Up Stones, Royal Coupons, and other rare items. Maplers can earn chances to spin the wheel by finding special tickets hidden throughout the game.

Also accompanying today’s update are balances to the gold leaf shop, character classes, and the user interface.

Wild West Online On PvE “They Have Literally Nothing To Do And Never Will”

Wild West Online launched to mostly negative reviews and a peak of 559 players on Steam that has since continually dwindled downward. In a post on the official forums, 612 Games is pitching ideas on overhauling certain aspects of the game including the faction systems and offering players activities that aren’t devoted to just shooting other people. In response to a player concern that the activities would take the game in a more player vs environment sort of direction, 612 responded that the game is not being developed to care about PvE players and never will be.

No, this is not what we want to do. We want game to be PVP game, but we also want to allow PVP players to enjoy other activities as well. Here’s what happening right now in a game – PVP players, who LIKES to shoot other players are sitting in a safety of towns until Town Capture or other event starts. Then they teleport to the event, shoot each other brains out and then retreat back to safety of towns.

Our goals is improve that part, not care about PVE players. Game is not for them. they have literally nothing to do in a game and they will never will. It’ll never be a PVE game.

More on the proposed changes can be found on the official forum.

Ghost Recon Wildlands: Ubisoft Adds PvP, Free Weekend Coming

Player vs player combat is coming to Ghost Recon Wildlands, so what better time than the present to play host to a free week?

Gamers on PC, PS4, and Xbox One will be able to jump in to Ghost Recon from October 12 to the 15, with PC players able to preload starting today, October 9. The PvP update hits servers tomorrow, October 10, as a free update to all who already own the game.

Ghost War is a 4-versus-4 team deathmatch experience that builds on the tactical squad play from the main game, where strategy is equally as important as skill. Using one of the 12 distinct classes, each with their own varied characteristics, weapons, perks and customisation options, players will engage with enemies across eight unique maps. Ghost War also integrates new PvP mechanics, including suppressing fire and sound markers, to create a strategic and intense team-based multiplayer mode.

Further along the road, Ubisoft will expand player vs player by adding in new maps, new modes, and new classes, all of which will be free for all players (new classes will be unlocked with prestige points). Wildlands season pass owners will have one week early access to new classes.
