Maplestory M Launches Dragon Master Class


Maplestory M today has launched its latest update, introducing the new Dragon Master class Evan as well as minigames and seasonal events. In addition to the new quest, Maplestory M is also introducing the minigame station along with four new minigames. Players will be able to gain coins through the minigame station and use those coins for rewards from the in-game shop.

Events following today’s update are as follows:

  • Evan Burning Event  – Through January 17, Evan characters between levels 3 – 75 will be given 2 bonus levels each time they level up 1 level
  • Evan update celebration– Through January 2, all players will receive special rewards including Buff Pets to help playing the game
  • Evan Growth Support Event– Through January 24, Special Growth Support Boxes, which include 3 stages of “Dragon Mount,” Evan exclusive chair and medal are given as players level up the new Evan class
  • Christmas Tree Decoration Event– Between December 24 to January 5, players can decorate Christmas trees with ornaments to earn Tree EXP for rewards
  • New Year’s Attendance Event– Between January 1 to January 24, players who log-in for 14 days anytime during the event period will receive Unique Accessory Draw Ticket, Equipment Support Box, pets and various rewards
  • Golden Pig Dice Event– Between January 10 to January 24, players can celebrate Golden Pig Year by obtaining special rewards from the board by rolling dice

Funcom’s Mutant Year Zero Has Launched


Funcom today launches their latest title: Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden.

The title promises to combine the turn based strategy of XCOM with realtime stealth and exploration of a post-human world reclaimed by nature and mutants. In a world where nuclear war has not only wiped out the last vestiges of humanity, you take on the roles of several mutated animals and humanoids to find Eden, a legendary safe haven in the wasteland that is the post-apocalyptic Earth. Or it may just not exist.

Mutant Year Zero is available on PC, Xbox, and Playstation. Xbox Game Pass owners can get their hands on the game as part of the subscription now. willing to wait two days will find the game added to their library on December 6.

Old School RuneScape Launches Mobile Today


The world mourns its loss of collective productivity today as Jagex has officially launched Old School RuneScape out of beta in its mobile form. The classic MMORPG hits Android and iOS devices following months of beta testing, with over one million users having pre-registered. Users are able to log in with their existing PC accounts and continue on either platform continuing to level up their characters.

Jagex CEO Phil Mansell stated:

“Today’s launch of Old School RuneScape on mobile leads the charge as we bring two of the world’s most popular MMORPGs to the world’s most popular gaming devices. Dark Eclipse Launches On PS4: First VR Moba Game


Dark Eclipse, the first PS VR MOBA title, launches today in North America and Europe from SUNSOFT as a free download on the Playstation store. Developer is looking to shake up the genre by pitting two players against one another in head-to-head matches, each player controlling a team of three leaders, each with unique skills and abilities, along with the power to recruit soldiers who level up during the match. The ultimate goal, as usual with the genre, is to conquer your enemy’s base.

“We created DARK ECLIPSE to capture the MOBA genre’s competitive magic, while restructuring many of its core elements to take advantage of VR’s unique capabilities,” said Shohei Sakakibara, Producer and Project Leader at SUNSOFT. “We’re dedicated to fostering an active community and making DARK ECLIPSE VR’s first competitive gaming phenomenon with a legitimate esports fanbase.”

Leaders can be purchased with in-game currency or through the Playstation Store starter packs. The base game is available for free on the Playstation Store.

H1Z1 Launches On Playstation 4


The day is here: H1Z1 has finally launched as free to play on Playstation 4. Launch day brings with it a new content drop, introducing two new weapons (an RPG and a sniper rifle), a new vehicle (the five-man ARV) and new launch bundles as well. H1Z1 on Playstation 4 was built from the ground up for consoles, streamlining the interface, control scheme, and inventory for faster paced games that feel at home on the console’s controller.

“Everyone here at Daybreak Games is thrilled with the overwhelmingly positive response to H1Z1’s debut on PS4,” said H1Z1 Producer Terrence Yee. “Ten million new players in our first month in Open Beta is an incredible milestone, and our entire development team has worked tirelessly to build on that early success. We’re beyond excited to officially launch H1Z1 on PS4—this is our fully realized vision for battle royale on console.”

Today also marks the launch of the first season battle pass. Playstation gamers can unlock up to 30 rewards from three tiers (free, premium, PS+) for completing missions and leveling up. The battle pass sells for $5.49 USD.

H1Z1 To Launch On PS4 August 7


Daybreak Game Company announced this week that H1Z1, the formerly zombie-based survival shooter turned Battle Royale title, will be launching on Playstation 4 officially on August 7. Upon launch, the game will officially become free to play and introduce a bevvy of new content including two new weapons, a new vehicle, season one of the game’s battle pass, two launch bundles, and optimizations to be sure.

H1Z1 has been trucking away on Playstation 4 in open beta, attracting more than 10 million players (that’s about 1 in every 7 PS4 owners). For more information on the update, check out the link below.

H1Z1 Orders More Hardware To Deal With PS4 Overload


The H1Z1 open beta has arrived on Playstation 4 today, and many of you trying to log in may be unlucky enough to find yourself getting stopped at the door. Daybreak Game Company has announced via Twitter that 200,000+ concurrent users are trying to get online and the servers are having some trouble keeping up. As a result, more hardware is being spun up to accommodate the extra server load.

Daybreak has asked that players hold on tight while the servers stabilize.

505 Games Details No Man’s Sky Xbox One Launch


505 Games this week revealed the official launch date for No Man’s Sky on the Xbox One. The title will launch in North America on July 24 and in Europe on July 27 and will include a major update that will also hit the Playstation and PC versions of the game. Dubbed No Man’s Sky NEXT and revealed earlier this year, the update promises a full multiplayer experience.

“Multiplayer completely changes the No Man’s Sky experience; it’s emergent, fun and intense in ways we always wanted it to be. I’m so happy this is finally happening,” said Sean Murray, founder, Hello Games. “It is genuinely exciting to be able to fully realize the potential so many people could see in No Man’s Sky. This will be our biggest update yet and we’re pumped to be bringing Xbox players along on the journey with us now too.”

NEXT is a free update expected to launch simultaneously on all systems.

No Man’s Sky Hits Xbox One This Year


Hello Games has officially announced the launch of No Man’s Sky on Xbox One as well as a massive update coming to PC and PS4 this year. Dubbed No Man’s Sky Next, the update will be free, however we do not have any information on what will be included with it in terms of new content. Hello Games has called it “an important next step on a longer journey for us and the community.”

“We are calling this No Man’s Sky NEXT because it is an important next step in a journey for No Man’s Sky, for Hello Games and for our devoted community,” said Sean Murray, founder at Hello Games. “Each update for No Man’s Sky has been more successful than the last; this was especially true of our last update Atlas Rises. It emboldens the team to push ourselves further. This journey is far from over, and it’s exciting to be working again on something you know will surprise people.”

The Xbox version of No Man’s Sky will be distributed by 505 Games who you may recognize from their publisher roles for games like the Sniper Elite series, Portal Knights, and Rocket League. A firm launch date has not been set.

TERA Hits Consoles April 3


En Masse Entertainment announced today the official launch date for TERA on Playstation and Xbox: April 3. If you’re not willing to wait until April to get into the servers, you can pick up a founder’s pack and start as early as Tuesday, March 27. Founder’s packs include EMP, mounts, pets, titles, and elite status, depending on which package you buy. The founder’s packs won’t be available until March 27.

“There is a lot of excitement in gaming to finally see the action combat TERA is so famous for realized on console,” states Matt Denomme, Sr. Product Manager at En Masse Entertainment. “We had an amazing reception to our Open Beta test from TERA veterans and newcomers. We are pumped to finally bring the deep, challenging, definitive MMO experience gamers have been waiting for to Xbox One and PlayStation 4.”
